Available across Great Britain, our Dedicated Internet Access service delivers a high quality Internet connection.

By using high speed technology to link your network to the Internet, we offer you fast, permanent, unmetered connection speeds, ranging from 2Mbps to 1000Mbps. A variety of access methods act as a direct link from your network to a THUS point of presence (PoP) on the Internet, providing you with the reliable connections your business needs.

Technical Information

Bandwidth and protocols:

	Dedicated bandwidth available from 2Mbps to 155Mbps.
	Bandwidths of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10Mbps on Local Ethernet (provided over Ethernet over Leased Lines or 10Mbps Ethernet.
	Fixed bandwidth of 34, 45 or 155Mbps on ATM.
	Fixed bandwidth of 100Mbps or 1000Mbps on Ethernet.
	Rate-limited bandwidth available on Ethernet or ATM
	1:1 contention

Internet Service Features:

	Permanent Internet connection*.
	Registration or re-delegation of up to three domain names.
	Registration of one or more blocks of IP addresses to RIPE guidelines.
	Set-up of DNS and mail services with SMTP email addresses.
	Optional MailDefender subscription gives managed anti-spam and two-way anti-virus protection for email users
	Unrestricted IP traffic, 24 hours a day*.
	24-hour technical support and access line monitoring as standard.
	Synchronous with 1:1 contention.

Requirements

Network and IP information

Network and IP information are required when requesting IP addresses. This is a stipulation of RIPE, the body that governs IP allocation. If you require assistance when requesting IP addresses, our sales staff will be happy to help.
